We are curious creatures, constantly seeking better ways to connect with people; constantly seeking better ways to add value to their lives and give back. We think about how people devour music, information, and new ideas and then go out into the world and plant the seeds of change. We are fans. Pure and simple. We are deeply enriched by the transformative effects of music and community. We are a community who, through music, seeks a deeper, richer, more inspired experience.

We are far more than a festival

We Are A MOVEMENT!

Empress J.

featuring DJ Petal

Empress J. is a Bajan-American Soca artist who lately has been blazing stages in the Soca arena.   She has been on the American music scene for years doing various genres of music including Gospel, Hip Hop and yes even Rock!  But at her core she is Soca! Her raspy, but sensual register, and unique blending of Caribbean and American vibes, makes Empress J’s gritty and unapologetically raw lyrics something to remember!

Epiph Ani

Epiph Ani is also a multifaceted artist & native of Washington, DC. She began her artistic career at the age of 12. She studied vocal music at Duke Ellington School of the Arts. Soon after, she discovered a passion for songwriting, production & audio engineering and began studying Jazz  & Theater at The University of the District of Columbia.

Formed on the campus of Howard University over fifty years ago, in the midst of the civil rights movement, by a resilient group of students who believed that gospel music belonged on the campus of Howard University. The Howard Gospel Choir of Howard University (HGC) is a body of students, alumni and members of the community from all over the world that are dedicated to using their gifts to spread the good news of Jesus Christ.

The choir is currently under the musical direction of Reginald Golden, a Howard University graduate from University Heights, OH.

Darrell Brown, also an alumnus of Howard University is the assistant musical director.
